Hacı Yusuf Efendi'nin cins bir atı varmış. Her sabah, bu atın son derece bitkin olduğunu görüyormuş. Geceleri birinin ona binerek koşturduğunu anlamış. Bir akşam, atın sırtını çok yapışkan olan bir madde ile sıvamış. O gece gelen cin, atın sırtı sıvandığı için kaçamamış ve ertesi sabah yakalanmış. Bu kocaman memelerini omuzlarına atmış; uzun, dağınık saçlı ve iri yarı bir kadın kılığındaymış. Hacı Yusuf Efendi, hemen onun saçından bir parça keserek saklamış. Böylece cin o evin kölesi olmuş ve altı buçuk yıl bu eve hizmet vermiş. Birgün evdeki kadınlar, hamama gitmişler. Evin altı aylık bebeğini de cine bırakmışlar. Cin, onlar hamamdayken evin her yerini arayarak saçını bulmuş. Altı aylık bebeği de kaynayan süt kazanına atarak hamama gitmiş. Orada yıkanan ev sahibi kadına; "Saçımı buldum, artık özgürüm. Bebeğinizi de kaynayan süt kazanına atarak öldürüp beni yıllarca köle yapmanızın intikamını aldım." demiş ve ortadan kaybolmuş.(Diyarbakır 2013 yaşanmış bir olaydır.)
