Odessa anxiously fluffed and flipped her hair in different ways, trying to make sure she looked fresh and on point without the use of a mirror. "How do I look? Is it recording yet?" she spoke, bombarding her younger brother with unnecessary questions. Her brother's response was nothing but an eye-roll and a thumbs up, indicating that the camera was in fact recording. 

"Oh- okay... Well, hey MTV producers!" Odessa greeted with a genuine grin and a cute little head tilt. Odessa couldn't help but squint a bit at the two huge studio lights that were about 10 feet away from her. "My name is Odessa ******, but people usually just call me Bambi, it's a childhood thing," she explained with a small shrug. "I'm twenty-three years old, and I'm from Philidelphia, Pennsylvania," Odessa told with a proud smirk. It was fairly obvious that Odessa loved her city, so many successful people have come from Philidelphia, despite all of the bad recognition it gets. 

"Growing up for me was a complete mess," Odessa began before stopping, realizing that Odessa would have to explain her entire life to a bunch of strangers online. She looked at her younger brother, signaling for him to leave the room; which thankfully, he did. "Growing up for me was, just insane, I don't think any other person would actually be able to handle what I had to go through as a child," she sighed, "For one thing, I had no male father figures in my life. The men who did come in and out of our families lives only ever did harm to us, whether it'd be financial, emotional, physical and.. yea," Odessa breathed. "When I was about 5 or 6, me and all 3 of my siblings had gotten sent to foster care after my mother had an- uhh, incident with drugs and alcohol..." Odessa said, trying her best to answer the application questions without being too graphic. "But- long story short, I was in and out of foster care up until I turned 18, once I turned 18 went straight to college for criminal justice and business- I knew I couldn't stand one more second with that lifestyle, and I wanted my younger siblings to live a normal life without struggle." Odessa nodded, looking down as she gave herself a small smile of approval of all the achievements she's made. "Now, not only do I have two college degrees, but I'm also an entrepreneur, fashion designer and a part time psychiatrist," she finished.

"My personality... well, I'm generally a pretty outgoing person, I guess? I'm typically not the type of person who starts the conversation or friendship, I'm usually the approachable one. I'm very funny, sarcastic, logical... I'm always one to mind my business, always," she chuckled, playfully rolling her eyes at the amount of drama she knows she's about to encounter though. "I am a bit crazy though, I'm supperrr petty- like if you do one little thing to piss me off I'll plan the perfect revenge just to get back, it's pretty my way of letting off a grudge, I guess. I'm into that dark magic stuff too, I'm definitely not one to mess with, I can make you hate your life," Odessa explained as she shrugged casually.

"My problem in relationships is that I'm so mean, if someone were to approach me, even if I liked them, I would literally just cuss them out, for no reason?" she sighs, "and, if you get passed that stage, I'm just impossible to communicate with because I'm so emotionally unavailable that it's just so hard for me to open up to anybody. I don't know if it's because I have trust issues from what I had to deal with in the past- maybe I just don't know what love feels like, I don't know," Odessa continued to ramble on about her sad love life, until she realized that her camera was just about to die, "Fuck, umm yeah" she mumbled, looking down at her application paper; only one more question. "My type... I honestly don't really have a type, as long as you're good-looking, taller than me, and you take care of yourself I'll be down," she shrugged as she took a glimpse at the camera, "dating a white guy would be really weird for me though," she chuckled, "What I usually tend to look for in a guy is someone who's just like me; family oriented, smart and ambitious. We've got to be on the same level, I don't want any guy who's lazy and dumb, but I also don't want a guy who's already got everything and isn't doing anything to help himself either, you know? The kind of guys who I unfortunately always tend to deal with are the scrubs and the cheater, they're like leeches. As much as I love Philly, I don't think that there's any guy that's right for me here, so, MTV, pleasee help a girl out!" Odessa begged, pouting her lips as she closed off her video with a wink.



"That was exhausting," she let out a breath of air, "here goes nothing," she whispered to herself as she hit that 'Send' button.
