Winged horse atau biasa dikenal dengan kuda terbang dan terdapat di seluruh dunia. Sebenarnya tidak memiliki KKM, namun banyak yang menyebutkan bahwa hewan ini memiliki KKM XX sehingga satwa ini bisa dijadikan sebagai alat transportasi. Jenisnya Winged Horse beragam-ragam yaitu abraxa, aethona, grania, thestral.
Thestral merupakan kuda berwarna hitam yang termasuk dari jenis terlangka dari winged horse. Selain dianggap sebagai pembawa sial bagi banyak penyihir. Thestral juga dapat menghilang. Sebagaimana halnya dengan hippogriff, pemilik winged horse memerlukan mantra ilusi atau Disillusionment Charm pada selang waktu yang teratur.
