I think Jade's Treasure is going to come out nicely once finished but the original image does have a lot of small detail and color variations. The size might have been too small. I've never seen it completed so I'd be curious to see the final result. If it doesn't come out great, we'll take note and re-chart it again.

Is Diamond Art Club cheap? No. Are we expensive? No. We are priced competitively and very similarly to Diamond Dotz which is the only other respectable company here in the United States, although they mostly carry partials.

You do get what you pay for with us, and if you don't we'll go above and beyond to make it right. Missing diamonds?
You'll have replacements in 3 days. Accident with your painting/diamonds? We'll replace it/them for free. Want a refund? Right away. Get a support response from an American team member in less than one hour? That too.

Running operations from the United States is not cheap. Having a US-based support team is expensive. Shipping via USPS/UPS/DHL is 2-3x more expensive than shipping via China Post. Having an American Project manager on site in China to oversee production, is also expensive. 12 designers on staff, helping manually chart each painting is expensive. Paying a percentage of each sale to our artists instead of stealing their artwork is not free. Marketing costs are also considerable.

Is there room for improvement? Yes. Always.

One mistake we did was trying to offer so many different designs in multiple different sizes to try and compete with Aliexpress and offer very affordable paintings at less than $20. Affordable prices mean small paintings = less detail = unhappy customers. We stopped manufacturing new small designs for this exact reason.

Given that we use a manual charting method, our designers were overwhelmed with the number of paintings they had to chart daily and quality took a hit trying to meet deadlines. That is exactly what happened with Lips Like Morphine and that is the reason why we pulled it off the shelves.

Last week, we decided to dial back on the size/diamond shape offerings and only offer one size per design ensuring that it's designed in the best appropriate size for best detail rendering. Offering too many sizes and variations consumed all our resources and is not sustainable in the long run.

We have also added more quality controls steps at the production line to try and minimize these issues even further. We are still learning, we are listening to you and we are going to do our best to meet and exceed your expectations.

In regards to Alice Wonderland, it is on us as soon as it's ready Danielle :)
