路阳睦邻计划委员会（睦邻）经在日前（十八日至二十三日）远赴砂拉越美里及诗巫与当地睦邻作了一番亲善交流。
此番交流会的宗旨为认识彼邦的睦邻，增进彼此间的情谊，了解砂州睦邻的情况及运作，吸取当地的睦邻经验，开拓视野，增广见闻，对推动睦邻会务有更大帮助。
睦邻一行十三人在主席郭义海的率领下浩浩荡荡从亚庇机场出发。首站为美里，当晚与美里马来岛甘榜睦邻作交流。这个以土族为主的睦邻成员在其领域内的回教堂旁的聚会场所热情欢迎路阳睦邻的到访。
美里马来岛甘榜睦邻主席阿之曼感到非常高兴能够接待路阳睦邻同人的到来。虽然他是新上任不久的主席，能够接待从远方而来的同伙们，实是一桩难得的事。他希望藉此双方能多了解彼此的睦邻运作，以提升自家的会务。
路阳睦邻主席郭义海亦感谢马来岛甘榜睦邻的殷勤招待。虽然此地离市区颇远，但却让人感到那温馨的接触。这正是睦邻的旨意，多关怀多接触。他希望对方也能有一天到来亚庇作同样的亲善交流。
期间两造睦邻同人都愉快的互相交流，互相交换意见。对方也以当地传统美食招待访客，还包括砂拉越著名的千层糕。
第二次的交流会是在诗巫，对象为诗巫拉让天鹅睦邻委员会。天鹅是诗巫的标誌。这个睦邻成员纯为华裔，而且都相当年轻，並以女性为多。难得众多女性肯为社会服务及贡献，值得赞赏。
拉让天鹅睦邻委员会在一家著名餐厅热情接待团员们。晚会除了美味佳肴外，其舞蹈团也以歌舞迎宾。精彩的舞姿让团员们看得目不转睛。两造人员也以歌会友，又唱又跳。席间双方谈笑风生，沉醉在一片欢愉融
