Les sculptures présentes au Troisième Reich représentaient principalement la force, la détermination et la beauté de l’homme Aryen. Souvent, on trouvait des sculptures d’hommes nus, avec un corps parfait, prêts pour la bataille.
Le corps se devait de représenter la perfection, l’idéal de la “race” Aryenne.
Arno Breker était le sculpteur préféré d’Hitler, car ses représentations du corps de l’homme étaient réellement parfaites, dépourvues de défauts ou d’imperfections et n’omettant pas le moindre détail.
Il a produit énormément de sculptures à la gloire de l’idéologie du régime. Cette sculpture, encore une fois, représente parfaitement la symbolique qui se devait d’être présente dans les sculptures du Troisième Reich.
L’homme représenté est fort, fier et beau: il incarne la perfection de la “race ”Aryenne.
