Max had been staring Jane down at lunch, something she never does. She's an introvert and keeps to herself. She NEVER makes eye contact or tries avoiding it. Jane turned around to meet her gaze, to which the red-headed female quickly turned away. After she had ate and dumped her tray, Jane departed from her friends and made her way towards Max. They weren't the best of friends since the whole Will incident. Jane learned to forgive and forget, something Hopper taught her. Haylie, one of Maxs' friends, saw Jane coming and pushed her, grabbed the other girls and walked off giggling. Max hissed at one of the girls, calling out some rude comments. Jane smiled and Max swooned. She was perfect to Max in everyway. From her slightly curled, short hair to the shoes that are always in style. Jane was a popular gal, whereas Max was not.
"I saw you staring at me back there. Or was it the stink eye? I figured you'd want to talk to me." She stated calmly with a giggle. Max felt blood rush to her cheeks.
"Oh, Uh- yeah! My friends and I were wondering," She felt herself trail off. She couldn't find the right words to say, the stress was overwhelming her. Jane gave her an expectant look.
" if you wanted to hang with us at the pizza shack, Friday?" She gave the curly locked gal a half smile, one that she managed to force out.
