📍Dalam artian luas--> ilmu yang mempelajari teknik-teknik matematika dan berhubungan kuat dengan aspek keamanan informasi, seperti kerahasiaan data, keabsahan data, integritas data, serta autentikasi data.
Menurut pendapat saya sendiri Cryptology/Cryptography adalah sebuah ilmu yang mempelajari code-code/cipher yang digunakan untuk menyembunyikan data penting/rahasia agar tidak diketahui oleh khalayak ramai dan hanya pemegang kunci dan yang membuat sandi yang dapat memecahkannya.
📍Dalam artian sempit --> ilmu dan seni menyembunyikan pesan atau data tertentu.
Didalam Cryptography ada 4 komponen, yaitu:
1. Plaintext (pesan yang dapat dibaca)
2. Ciphertext (pesan acak yang tidak dapat dibaca)
3. Key (kunci untuk melakukan teknik kriptografi) --> digunakan jika sandi membutuhkan angka dan kata kunci.
4. Algorithm atau metode untuk melakukan enkrispi dan dekripsi.
Nah apa itu Enkripsi dan Dekripsi? Pada dasarnya itu adalah sebuah metode/ proses namun keduanya memiliki perbedaan sebagai berikut:
〰️🌸Enkripsi itu proses mengubah plaintext menjadi ciphertext(membuat sandi)
〰️🌸Dekripsi itu proses untuk mengubah ciphertext menjadi plaintext (menerjemahkan sebuah sandi.)
