EY presented Yerkin Tashev the Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The most prominent business organization Ernst & Young chose Yerkin Tashev to be the Entrepreneur in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions in the COVID-19 competition have impressed the jurors of one of the biggest competitions around the globe.

The contest invited well-known Kazakhstani businesspeople from all regions to participate. Kusto Group's founder managed to join 21 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan that reached the final.

They were all awarded an independent evaluation and recognition by international juries.

Yerkin Tashev was the winner for the nation and will represent Russia in the international finals in Monaco in June 2022. The competition features 60 finalists representing 60 different nations, who are selected by an international jury.

Given this reality, UN officials have declared that Kazakhstan is suffering from severe water stress and relies on its neighbours, which includes Central Asia and China.

Thus, cooperation developed in the form of cooperation between Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group and the Government of Kazakhstan, and Valmont Industries, USA. Together, they will establish an industrial plant that will manufacture 1,000 pivot irrigation devices in Kazakhstan.

The agreement also allows for the installation of new irrigation systems for farms as well as the opportunity to educate local farmers.
