The mix sectional study of non-medical use of doctor prescribed opioids and taking once life actions among teens.
High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is paramount in the assessment of interstitial lung disease (ILD). Yet, HRCT interpretation of ILDs may be hampered by inter- and intra-observer variability. Recently, artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized medical image analysis. This technology has the potential to advance patient care in ILD. We aimed to systematically evaluate the application of AI for the analysis of ILD in HRCT.

We searched MEDLINE/PubMed databases for original publications of deep learning for ILD analysis on chest CT. The search included studies published up to March 1, 2021. The risk of bias evaluation included tailored Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies and the modified Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal checklist.

Data was extracted from 19 retrospective studies. Deep learning techniques included detection, segmentation, and classification of ILD on HRCT. Most studies focused on the classification of ILD into different morphological patterns. Accuracieassess the value of existing AI tools for ILD evaluation. The visual abstract, read with ease and speed, is a logical evolution for today's journals to attract and maintain readers. However, many faculty have not yet constructed visual abstracts. This manuscript is a means to consolidate theory and commentaries into a cohesive explanation of why and how to develop a visual abstract. Tremendous growth opportunity exists for this innovation in the medical landscape, with current and future applications in journal publications, summary and dispersal of practice guidelines, and delivery of educational and training materials.
Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and Peyronie's Disease (PD) are debilitating medical conditions affecting patients' quality of life (QoL). Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections are one of the various emerging approaches proposed to treat these medical conditions.

To describe the evidence of the potential role of PRP injections in ED and PD.

The authors conducted a systematic review according to the PRISMA statement using the following databases in November 2019 The National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Ovid Medline, Cochrane, Scopus, Embase, and Embase classic. The search was performed using keywords drawn from studies on the use of PRP in ED and PD in clinical and preclinical studies.

Eighteen articles met the inclusion criteria for review, including 12 studies on the use of PRP in humans and 6 on the use of PRP in rats. Ten studies reported on the efficacy of PRP in ED exclusively, 7 in PD exclusively and one in both conditions. In humans, 6 and 3 studies showed promising results in PD and ED, respectivepreclinical and clinical studies with standardized protocols to gain an adequate insight into its potential implications. Patients should be offered to be part of such trials to better understand PRP potential. Interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS) is a chronic condition with highly prevalent negative consequences on sexual health and quality of life. However, there is a lack of consensus regarding treatment options that improve sexual function in this population. This study aims to review the current literature on sexual health outcomes in patients treated for IC/BPS.

We conducted a systematic review of the literature on sexual health outcomes after treatment of IC/BPS. PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINHAL, and Google Scholar were queried, and results were screened using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Inclusion criteria for this review were IC/BPS was clearly defined in the cohort, sexual health outcomes were measured as the primary or a secondary outcome, manuscript was written in English from January 2000 to April 2020. Studies on cystectomy were excluded as radical surgery is a confounding factor for sexual dysfunction.

We identified 1611 ilence in this population. Chen A, Shahiyan RH, Anger J. Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome Treatment A Systematic Review of Sexual Health Outcomes. Sex Med Rev 2021;xxxx-xx.
Transfeminine genital reconstructive surgery is an important part of gender affirmation for many transgender women. Sexual health post-vaginoplasty is an important aspect of quality of life that can have a significant impact on overall well-being.

The objective of this review is to provide a summary of the literature on the sexual outcomes of transgender females post-vaginoplasty and identify treatment strategies for those experiencing sexual dysfunction.

A literature review was conducted with a focus on sexual health outcomes in transgender females post-vaginoplasty as well as treatment options for sexual dysfunction.

Penile inversion vaginoplasty with or without free skin grafts or local tissue flaps and intestinal vaginoplasty are the options available to patients interested in transfeminine genital reconstructive surgery with a neovagina. Sexual satisfaction post-vaginoplasty is high regardless of the vaginoplasty technique, however up to 29% of patients may be diagnosed with a sexual dysfunction due to associated distress with a sexual function disturbance. Hormone treatment, pelvic floor physical therapy, sex therapy, and sex surrogacy are treatment options for patients with sexual dysfunctions.

Patient reported outcome measures appropriately validated for this patient population are necessary to better understand sexual function outcomes, sexual dysfunction and treatment options for post-vaginoplasty patients. Hormonal imbalances have been associated with various sexual dysfunction disorders. In particular, the connection of hyperthyroidism has been discovered to correlate to premature ejaculation (PE) but has yet to been thoroughly elucidated. As one of the most frequently self-reported sexual dysfunctions, it is imperative for health care professionals to evaluate possible underlying conditions in regard to treatment options for individuals with PE.

To review the literature regarding hyperthyroidism effects on sexual dysfunction, with a focus on hyperthyroidism and PE.

A literature review of articles and clinical studies was performed to define the classification, pathophysiology, diagnostic considerations, and management of hyperthyroidism on PE. Search terms included "hyperthyroidism" and/or "premature ejaculation," "treatment of premature ejaculation," "defining premature ejaculation," and "management of premature ejaculation."

To improve the accuracy of diagnosing PE, there needs to be a set definition amongst the different guidelines, as using these guidelines can help determine possible underlying etiologies of PE. The correlation of hyperthyroidism and PE has been described in a limited number of studies. It has been reported that individuals with hyperthyroidism are much more likely to have PE than individuals with euthryoidism. Management of hyperthyroidism has been shown to alleviate the symptoms of PE.

Further understanding of hyperthyroidism as an underlying cause of PE could lead to increased efficacy of treatment and management of PE. Tannenbaum J, Youssef M, Attia AS, etal. Hyperthyroidism as an Underlying Cause of Premature Ejaculation. Sex Med Rev 2021;XXXXX-XXX.

Penile prosthesis (PP) implantation combined with grafting techniques is indicated in patients with Peyronie's disease (PD) and erectile dysfunction (ED) nonresponsive to medical and conservative treatment that present with residual penile curvature greater than 30°, severe penile deformity or significant penile shortening.

To address the preoperative evaluation, the surgical procedure and the functional outcomes of grafting techniques combined with PP implantation in patients with PD and concomitant ED and to provide future perspectives on the matter.

We performed a systematic review of the literature based on the PRISMA statement (PROSPERO ID CRD42021224517). Records were identified by searching Medline, Scopus, The Cochrane Library and Web of Science databases as well as sources of gray literature from inception to December 2020. The quality of all included records was assessed based on a modified version of the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale for cohort studies.

PP implantation combined with grafting is a safe and highly effective surgical procedure in patients with PD and concomitant ED. All grafting materials provide similar beneficial outcomes, but TachoSil subsequently reduces the operative time and does not require suturing. Still, no definite conclusions can be drawn regarding the superiority of one grafting technique over the other, as randomized clinical trials are lacking.
