part 1 chapter 1: so this takes place in NYC and jennet is all grown up and shes sees her mom digging through a dumpster so they start talking about values and jennets values are to be recognized as a successful person and her moms values have not changed and tells jennet to tell the truth
part 2 chapter 1: so this takes place in Tucson Arizona and what happens here is that jennet gets burned and she is sent to the hospital and we really see the values of Rex walls who values for the authority and the health of others is non existent and he thinks he could take care of his own family and Rex told his family about the glass castle and everyone believed in it and that's what they strive to accomplish
part 2 chapter 2: So after the before the bill collectors came Rex made the skedaddle and they told the kids that they were going to Las Vegas NV and this is where they values of the family is focused towards money they are so desperate for money and they just leave their children outside in the car while Rex cheats the people in black jack.
Part 2 chapter 3: So they move to San Francisco CA after they make the skedaddle so jennets values have shifted towards facing her fear also known as fire Jennet was burned at the age of 3 so shes decides to go around burning things such as toilet paper and not just toilet paper also a stack of toilet paper and then when night came Jennet woke up to the hotel burning and Rosemary and Rex values where still focused on looking for investments to put into the prospector for the glass castle.
