Long message ahead...

So, I love that you write in long hand. I always mean to do it more but on the computer it's so easy. Long hand activates a different part of the brain when you write. I try to save it for me "real writing" because the voice is different. LOL Whatever that means... lol. I'm stoked those MCs got adhered. Too bad they aren't happy about it. They will be in the end.

I'm curious to know if you've progressed on your plot problem. I LOVE the idea of throwing in the candy about the wedding but don't go pure candy. Readers will like candy but it has to closely adhere to who your MCs are though...they're acting out of their original selves but they should kind of surprise themselves, too.

My rationale: You have the Meet Cute which is the what could be if they were together. Then, you have the Adhesion beat which is the dark side of the Meet Cute because they know they can't be together but now they don't have a choice but to be together with the one person they know is bad for them. That's why they state the No Way a second time. They're trying to save themselves from making a bad decision, for going for that Meet Cute vision of themselves happily ever after. The Inkling of Desire and the Deepening have to be sweet and tasty because we need to climb to the Mid-Point. What you could do is fuck with your readers. Let their wedding tasks go off without a hitch (and that's assuming that the wedding stuff at least ties to the inner or external needs) and then let something lightly related blow up in their faces in the Deepening Desire. That can create space to drag them together and speed them toward Maybe This Could Work.

For example: We left our fashion designer and photographer at Adhesion.

No Way 2: She gets a message from Moda Magazine that they are sending the photographer back out to shoot again. In fact, one of the higher up editors call her. She hangs up and talks to her assistant who's also kind of becoming a friend. This assistant mentions that she saw the sparks between MC1 and the photographer. MC1 denies it but she knows it's true. She states her No Way.

MC2, photographer goes for drink with his frenemy, a lead photographer at another fashion mag. He states his No Way.

Inkling: You could complicate the fashion shoot and make it uncomfortable but I think it's interesting to have it go off without a hitch. The photographer gets his shots in ten minutes. MC1 is at first scared of the camera but he does something that puts her at ease. She's frightened by how easlil
