The game begins with each player dealing their cards. Each player gets 2 cards, while 5 cards are placed face down on the table. The cards you have will allow you to place your wagers, raise, re-raise or fold. The betting continues until five cards are revealed on the table. The winner is the player who has the best five-card hand of his two cards and five cards on the table.

Players then finalize their hand starting with the first active player to the left of the dealer and working clockwise round the table. Players may hit or stand depending on their preference. If they exceed 21, they must be stood. Cards are dealt face down. A hand can consist of a maximum of 7 cards. The final round is then of betting. Spread limit this time with bets/raises between 2x and 10x the bigblind. A showdown then takes place, losing hands may be mucked without being publicized. The winner takes the pot. Tied hands split the pot.

The dealer will now "burn" another card on the table and then deal a single card, known as the turn card.There are now 4 cards at the table. If it comes to a show-down, the hands are compared and the winner takes the pot. The game goes on until one player has won the whole stock.
