Minecraft maker Mojang plans a spin-off game

Minecraft maker Mojang is planning a spin-off game based on its wildly popular block-building title.
It's called Minecraft: Story Mode and will be an episodic video game that is set in the familiar Minecraft world however, it introduces new characters to the setting.
The game is developed by Telltale Games which has produced numerous other episodic games.
The first episode will be available on consoles, PCs , and Macs in 2015, and also on Android devices.
It is unknown what the game will be like. Mojang has produced a short browser-based game called Info Quest II to provide an explanation of what it could look like.
In a blog post Mojang stated that the game will be developed with the assistance of the Minecraft community.
It was designed to assure players that Story Mode is not violent and bloody like previous Telltale games. Recent Telltale games include The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands and titles based on Game of Thrones and zombie thriller The Walking Dead.
"Telltale's Minecraft-inspired game will be similar to Minecraft," stated Mojang, "but it's an entirely unique take on the game that was that is influenced by our game."
Let it sing
Mojang has released the final version of its Scrolls card-based game of magic fighting. Soon after, the news about Story Mode is out.
