Minecraft streamer and creator of content Technoblade has died following an extended battle with stage four cancer His family announced his death today in a statement to the public and video.

Techno has previously revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer in August. He has been updating his followers regularly on his condition, and continues to undergo treatment and creating content on YouTube.
In the video, released on June 30, Techno's father spoke his final posthumous message that was titled "so long nerds," that was written specifically for this occasion. It was filled to the fullest with the creator's trademark dark and sometimes humorous humor, and also serves as one final 'thank you' to all who supported the Minecraft star throughout the years.
"Thank you all for supporting my work throughout the years. If I had another hundred lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade each time. Techno stated that those were the most joyous years of my life.
"I hope you guys enjoyed my writing and that I am able to make a few of you laugh. I hope you all go on to live long, prosperous, and happy lives because I love you guys. Technoblade is out
Techno, who reveals himself to be Alex Techno, explains how the money he earned from the sale of merchandise and other "sell-out" pushes in the past year was used to send his children off to college. He also thanked his viewers for letting him share these happy moments with them. A slideshow of images that show him through different stages of his treatment is shown on screen.
His father, who was there to hear Techno's final message explains that he had originally planned to record and write the video prior to his death. However, Techno's declining health and other factors prevented him from doing so. His father stated that he wrote the message in his bed and passed away eight hours later.
Technoblade's father claimed that he was "the most wonderful child anyone could ever wish for." "I am missing Technoblade. Thank you to everyone of you for everything.
