Perhaps the most astonishing feat is Jim Brown's accomplishment of these records despite not being over 29 years old. Brown's six games that saw at least 4 touchdowns are an NFL record. Brown led the league in rushing a record eight times. Brown's 1,863 rushing yard record from 1963 is a Cleveland franchise mark. It is currently the oldest NFL franchise record for rushing miles. He was difficult to tackle, as shown by his leading 5.2-yard per carry. It often took more than one person just to bring him down.
Even after all these years, he still holds the Cleveland Browns' record for rushing yards in an individual season (1.863). The record has not been broken by any other team in the league. Jim Brown also won the league MVP award three more times during his time with Cleveland.
Although tight end positions can be challenging for football players one man is known who has successfully completed the task of being one. Kellen Winslow set a tight end record for 1290 yards in one season between 1979 and 1987. He had five touchdown passes in a single game, which tied the record and made him one of the most respected TE's.
