Next up is the Four of a Kind. This requires you to have four cards of a single type. If two players have four cards of the same type, the winner is the player with the highest fifth card. This is also known as the kicker. Below that, we have the Full House. This requires three cards of the same ranking and two of the other of the same rank. This would allow you to have three Aces or more and two Kings.

Poker was originally played with one round. Each player received five cards, and each player was dealt five cards. There was no drawing. Professional gamblers later modified these rules to increase the profits of the game. Sometime after 1850 it became common practice to have wild cards and bluffing in games and around the same time drawing cards was introduced.
