Are Private Servers Dead

Are private servers dead, especially for those who want an authentic experience in leveling up with 1xp and a good enough number of players so that they can still play with other players. Are there any servers that offers this experience?



In comparison to the pre-2019 years Yes they are all dead today.

No difference in population between warmene in any way.



There are many servers that are empty when you go in and out, however few servers are sufficiently populated to be visible on the game. Do not believe that the number of servers is crucial. Instead, look at it by your eyes.

The majority of them don't deserve to play on a private server... why cant people just enjoy the game on one server instead of following the raged crowd of new players



Make private servers awesome again



The freshtards from 10 years ago sure are trying to take down private servers. If every server was to ban freshtards, then private servers could actually be able to grow again.



The truth is that, with the exception of P2W servers like Ascension and Warmane they are really dead.

The market for private servers has never been better since Classic began it.



It was flourishing in pre-classic times, however Blizzard lost the war.

It will depend on how many players you'd like however, the next one to be released is called Kronos 4, i think



If you are seeking something to stimulate your blood flow I recommend turtle wow.



It's very similar to original however it's full of extras that feel like vanilla in it.



The auction for hardcore will end your character's status when it dies, however the guild is extremely cool, and if you've played WoW as often as I have, it's great to discover something new.

There are many dead players. Ascension is known to have more than 10,000 concurrent players on their realms. I'm sure they will see more when their new project launches. Warmane... Although it has many players however, the numbers are disputed. Additionally, a lot of things you would call dead is more active than the blizzard live servers.



10000 seems to be the limit



Private servers are going downhill as players get more and more satisfied with their need of gaming. Wow is just too boring to play now that you've spent so many years on it. Many of your friends, well-known individuals have left and leave you behind. You may also decide to quit.



Wotlk is the only expansion that is being pumped into the pserver scene and it is so boring to watch this game every day. TBC isn't being played and every Vanilla is becoming pretty much dead or just flourishing but there are hackers and cheaters are on those servers.



Other expansions aren't worth a look.



I have my account on Warmane but I don't play anymore, just collecting points there and sitting in afk for months. Too lazy to even enter on 1 character.

The population other than the vanilla community has remained the same as I've always seen it. The vanilla community is about the same size as it was prior to the no-nost numbers. So, that hasn't changed much either.
