A Memorable Story About Bali Diving

In 1982 I worked as an English speaking tourist guide, but throughout my leisure time I found out Italian language by my own technique autodidact using English-- Italian; Italian-- English dictionary and grammar book. When we came to Buitan was a really traditional fishing town, situated at the district of Manggis Karangasem eastern Bali near Candidasa, I was impressed by the beauty of the nature, a magnificent panorama or the terraces ricefield, rural atmosphere and the Majestic Mount Agung at the far back, for Bali it is the place of the Supreme God "The Navel of the World". The sea was spectacular, clear blue water, stayed untouched by contemporary influences, seduce everybody particularly beach and dive fans. Now Buitan boast a high-end 5 stars hotel and some little lodgings in Balinese design cottage.

When we were preparing everything for dive a cordial regional man came close to us and provided his own wood boat used for complimentary in the hope of us capturing a lot of fish. Under really excellent weather we could see a fantastic underwater world among the coral reefs.

My Italian clients brought their own dive equipments since they were the holder of PADI license. Wow, wow, wow, what an excellent day, we fished a lot (just picked fish), one thing amazed me that Bli Monyoh got 4 king lobsters. Wow amazing, we truly commemorated and took pleasure in an excellent day.

Now in Bali there are some amazing and remarkable, world renowned dive websites: Nusa Dua, Sanur, Padang Bay, Gili Tapekong, Tulamben, Amed, Nusa Penida and Lembongan and Menjangan Island.
