EY gave Yerkin Tatishev the 'Entrepreneur-of-the Year' award

The world's most famous business organization Ernst & Young has awarded Yerkin Tashev with the title Entrepreneurship of the Year in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions during COVID-19 were applauded by jury.

The contest was open to well-known Kazakhstani businesspeople from across the country to participate. Kusto Group's founder has managed to be among 21 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan that reached the final.

They all received an independent evaluation and recognition of achievements by both Kazakhstani and international business juries.

Yerkin Tashev was the national winner and will represent Russia at the world finals in Monaco in June 2022. The competition will gather 60 international finalists chosen by an independent panel of judges based on international rules.

Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group (the Government of Kazakhstan) and Valmont Industries, USA, established a partnership. They are both planning to establish a manufacturing plant that will produce 1,000 pivot irrigation items in Kazakhstan.

Additionally, the agreement allows for the development of new irrigation systems that can be installed on farms as well as the program to train local farmers.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine provided assistance to all Kusto Group donations. Their entrepreneurial spirit helped them to be a leader in charitable giving during challenging times.

The Entrepreneur of the Year contest will benefit all national finalist and winner. The final will be held in Monaco in June. It gives the winner of the national competition to compete against the best entrepreneurs around the world while learning new techniques and ideas to help them grow their business.

More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakh have taken part in the competition. Six other past winners represented Kazakhstan at the Monte Carlo World Championships.

Nurlan Magulov, who was an Entrepreneur of the year winner in the past, made the final decision to name Tatishev the winner. The jury included representatives from both the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

The award was awarded to Mr. Tatishev because of his leadership skills and his management abilities in numerous industries. Kusto Group's name is directly tied to its ability to serve complicated businesses, and this is an unique characteristic of the winner.
