Seperti OSIS di dunia nyata. DSNo diurus dan dikelola oleh murid-murid yang terpilih untuk menjadi pengurusnya. Sebelum menjadi anggota DSNo, setiap calon akan mengikuti pelatihan selama 2 hari dan juga wawancara. Hal ini bertujuan untuk menemukan calon penerus DSNo yang memiliki kualitas. Tidak hanya diisi oleh murid-murid, organisasi ini juga memiliki seorang pembimbing dari prof/sensei (sekarang yang membimbing Prof Klaire) yang dipilih oleh pihak sekolah. Anggota DSNo adalah seluruh siswa yang berada pada satu sekolah tempat DSNo itu berada (Durmstrang). Seluruh anggota DSNo berhak untuk memilih calonnya untuk kemudian menjadi pengurus DSNo. DSNo juga memiliki beberapa rules yang dapat mengikat anggota DSNo tersebut agar tetap bekerja dan beetanggung jawab sesuai porsi tugas yang telah diberikan.
Memiliki Prinsip TPKI yaitu Tegas Peduli Kreatif Inovatif dalam mengemban tugas yang dikerjakan.
DSNo dibagi menjadi 4, yaitu:
-DS00
-DS01
-DS02
-DS03
Masing-masing sudah mempunyai tugasnya. Sedangkan DSNo Unit Utama yang memantau kinerja dari 4 Divisi lainnya. Untuk menjadi anggota DSNo pastinya harus memiliki sifat seperti Prinsip yang dimiliki DSNo dan Harus Netral (Tidak berat sebelah dan harus adil).
