The biggest mistake we make is that we assume total agreement in our expectations and do not even try to understand our partner's expectations. The one thing we do have in common is that our partner doesn't miss an opportunity to increase the gap in expectations ..... We don't even need anyone to warn us of the imminent conflict.
There are a variety of reasons for communication issues, but they are generally related to our different personalities. Square personalities are more likely to miscommunicate than liberal personalities, while individuals who are aggressive may have trouble aligning their expectations with those of passive individuals. This is simple to spot as everyone can tell that they are squared from the liberal, and passive from the aggressive.
What if they were different? Imagine that there's a type of a personality gap which exists, but we don't know about. It has never been discovered or reported on or studied by anyone. !
Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to a brand new type of personality we all have: the FULL CIRCLE versus the HALF CIRCLE types! !

Two categories of human beings are referred to as being human. There are those who are "full-circle" types, a self-contained person that is completely comfortable alone. Yes, he does need the support of a partner. Absolutely! This is absolutely true. ... But, he can survive without the perfect partner until he gets it. He will continue to live his life in a relationship with his partner until he finds one.
The other human side is comprised of the "half-a-circle" kind of people that are (no it's not full circles that were damaged during the birth) (see below) ... It's true, they need a partner and yes, they need to find a partner very badly, and yes, they're in constant, almost religious, search for a partner... and yes it's as important as matters of national security that they find their perfect partner since they simply cannot survive without one. Once they've found the miserable creature, THEY will not give up! To create a happy circle, they'll attempt to join their victim physically. The Halves aren't content with anything less than staring at one another from zero distance. It is impossible for them to feel more intimate than that.
One interesting distinction between these types is the decision to end a relationship. If a partner has lost chemistry with the full circle will be released easily by the entire circle. The half-circle types, on the other hand will redefine the meaning of having chemistry mutually with their companions' to be - 'im hanging on to this B..ST..RD until I can safely replace him with an appropriate upgrade'.
Imagine the amazing dance when a "half circle", and a 'full-circle" attempt to make each other, but without being aware of their different geometrical shapes. The Half smiles and moves two steps forward. The Full is a bit frightened by the unwelcome intrusion somewhat frightening. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The issue is that he took half of his comfortable zone .... and as the Half was convinced that the Full made an innocent mistake The Half starts to get angry and takes a step backward. The Half and the Full understand why, but aren't using the correct terms. They aren't able to properly express their anguish so they look at the wrong things. If they had known that one is Half and the other one is Full, it could have helped them ...

Although there isn't a single conclusion, there are some actions you can adopt.
1. Learn more about who you are
2. Find out who you are with
3. Recognize the difference.
3. Respect the difference!
In reality, one conclusion is that is true: Live and let live.
