How To Play Minecraft (Beginner's Guide)

As opposed to other video games, Minecraft allows you to have control over the game, and it also has the ability to allow players to be moderators, and to build their own coding/modding directly into the game!



Logging in and the main menu



This table outlines what you can do after you click on the buttons in the main menu:



- SinglePlayer Start or continue playing the game. The remaining portion of this article covers the options for starting the game in SinglePlayer mode.



MultiPlayer: Connect to other players online



Languages: You can change the language used by Minecraft's text. Click the tiny button just left of the Options button, showing the speech bubble, which is surrounded by a globe.



- Options: Manage game options such as graphics, sound mouse controls, difficulty levels and general settings.



- Quit Game Close the browser unless in In-Browser mode.



Start your first game in SinglePlayer mode.



1. Click the SinglePlayer button to view the world's most popular.



This list is not necessary if you are just starting Minecraft.



2. To create a new game click the Create New World button.



The Create New World page opens.



3. In the World Name text box, write whatever name you would like and then click the Create New World button at the bottom of the screen.



Turning on game cheats can increase or decrease the difficulty level when you play, and also shifts between Creative mode and Adventure mode. Nfo.so Cheats can give you more control over your world as you begin your journey.



When you finish creating your world, the game automatically begins by creating the world and putting your avatar (character) in it.



Selecting the appropriate game mode in Minecraft



Survival - Players are randomly spawned in new worlds, and must survive by accumulating materials, constructing shelter, gaining experience, and battling hostile mobs. Creative The game mode allows players to instantly access all items and blocks, be invulnerable to death, and can fly. The aim of this game mode is to design unique worlds. Adventure involves players interacting with objects (levers buttons, levers) and mobs to complete their adventure. Spectator is inaccessible to all and unable to interact with blocks, entities or your own inventory. This mode is typically used to observe the worlds created by other players. Hardcore Similar to survival mode, Hardcore is set to the "hard" difficulty level permanently and players cannot be respawned; once you die, the map is deleted (or you permanently become a spectator).
