The present invention relates to a device for insertion and sealing of narrow-pitched annular fastener parts such as ring seals for sealing relatively narrow width joints such as sleeves or the like.

Such narrow-pitched fastener parts are generally inserted into a sealing element with some force. In general, such fastener parts have a diameter which is several times smaller than the diameter of the sealing element.
The annular fastener parts are, in general, inserted into the sealing element, via their edge or a side face, in such a manner that they are arranged or located between two sealing elements. The annular fastener parts are thus protected against open-air exposure.

Thus, there is a need to provide a device which is suitable for the insertion and sealing of such narrow-pitched fastener parts.

The device according to the invention has a first part which is adapted to receive the annular fastener part. Furthermore, the first part has a slit opening through which a tip of the annular fastener part can be guided. The slit opening extends in the direction of the axis, preferably circumferentially.
The second part has a sealing element which is adapted to surround the narrow-pitched fastener part. Furthermore, the second part has two sealing lips with which the seal faces of the fastener part are to be pressed together.
