The Minecraft Vanilla Cape has players stumped. There are many cool capes available in Minecraft. Did you know this? It's one of those items in the sandbox that people don't pay attention to. But they're there in case you require them. A few of these slots are to be used for things like transferring your Mojang account, or attending events, but an upcoming one requires you to have completed something.
The Minecraft Vanilla Cape is a kept secret for the moment. This is because an article on the cape was posted on the official Minecraft site earlier in the week, only to be deleted a couple of hours later. It's an incredibly strange situation and there's no explanation for why this is the case.
Phoenix SC posted a video about the whole thing, and even created a mockup to show the cape in action. The short version of this whole story is that Mojang put up a post, which we've just linked to, but it returns the 404 'not found' error, and then took it down. It stated that players who had bought both the Bedrock and Java versions of Minecraft prior to June 6, 2022, would get the opulent Vanilla Cape.
The site was taken down a few hours later and can now be viewed only on the Wayback Machine. SERVERS This is quite a mystery. There's nothing especially sordid about the story or even like something that's been revealed early. We're not sure as to why it was removed but it certainly was. According to the Wikipedia, the cape was also advertised on the Minecraft Discord server, so why was the post taken down?
