Mojang the developer studio behind the hugely successful Minecraft continues its five-year streak of increasing profits. Mojang's 2012 revenue was $237 million. A Wall Street Journal article reported that the figure was $326 million for 2013, which translates into nearly $128 million in profit.
About 93 percent of the company's revenue was made from Minecraft, split fairly even across platforms including 38 percent from the PC version, 30 percent from console versions, and 25 percent from mobile versions.
