4. TOOLS
- DSL query -
*type of modem,
*technology if blank + cx have no *bonded modem = dual band, two modems are connected together., NOTE: never hard reset a bonded modem!!!
*DSL type = VDSL + it means that the modem is bonded
- Test email - used to test/determine if cx is sending or receiving emails.,
- Raduis usage - to check how many times the moded got disconnected or has been reset or powercycled.
* check for feason for disconnection or terminate cause.
types (most common) : user request - powercycle
NAS request - means something wrong with the NID(Network Interface Device)
port error - lagging (problem on our end)
lost carrier - means something wrong with the NID and DSLAM.
