Tres Chere by Alberto Morillas


The person behind a lot of the iconic scents we love, such as CK One by Calvin Klein, Kenzo Flower and BVLGARI Omnia, Alberto Morillas describes himself as 'mostly self-trained' in perfumery. He started his career at Firmenich in 1970, and there he was taught the techniques of the trade. He then was a Master Perfumer in 1977.



In 1999, he started Mizensir, which is a Swiss Craft House which creates scents specifically designed for both men and women. With a process of deep reflection as the foundation of the fragrances, Morillas gets inspiration from his memory and imagining.


Tres Chere, a floral scent that was launched in 2017 is a uplifting scent. The fragrance opens with citrus blossoms and sea subtleties. The floral heart is revealed with blooms like jasmine and white hawthorn. The base is a blend of Australian Sandalwood, Bourbon Vanilla Absolute and Exaltone. The result is an sexy and feminine scent that resembles a poetic love letter written in an bottle, devoted to a memorable moment.


Voce Viva by Valentino


Every perfume brand releases their latest scents with great fanfare as the fall season is approaching. Millions of dollars are put into advertisements featuring famous faces and a scent that usually smells a lot like the perfume that the majority of people are wearing.


The most recent scent by Valentino is Voce Viva, inspired by Lady Gaga and celebrating every woman's voice. It's a floral bouquet with a crystal moss adolescence that can be addictive and powerful.

When vanilla comes into the picture it is common to think of the warmth and comfort that comes from custard. However, the co-creators of Couleur Vanille chose to take an alternative approach. They balanced the rich vanilla notes with salty and fresh flowers to give the fragrance distinct character.

Before texting late at night and swiping right texts became a norm, people shared their feelings by writing letters on paper.
