Colorado State Insurance Commissioner Complaints Against the Current Attorney General
What do you do when you are running out of things to complain about? Well, why not complain about the Colorado State Insurance Commissioner, Richard Davis.
As informed is a change from being not interested in shopping for a new insurance policy; this state commissioner complaints against a newly filed complaint. He doesn't want to regulate the insurance industry, and thinks that people should just hold their personal policies and not buy into the entire insurance business model.
He also states that he has not heard of any case in the past where the company went bankrupt because it was not paying its clients' claims. I think these claims may be exaggerated, as the last case I heard of was because the company didn't provide coverage on one's policy, and even then did cover it, but only if the client had a good driving record.
He also claims that people who have been involved in car accidents shouldn't pay too much attention to the number on their policy. I don't know how many people that are in your situation he has complained about, but I am sure the numbers are in there somew here .
Then he states that the industry needs to stop looking at their own numbers and think about the needs of other people. This is quite an interesting statement, as he seems to imply that the state needs to do what is right for their consumers, which is a bit off the mark in my opinion. If you go to the Denver Post daily or listen to the radio, you can hear the same rhetoric over.
The state's insurance commissioner has not done anything to help people in his time and continues to take a "throw away" attitude. You know what, if this is what the Colorado State Insurance Commissioner thinks, then we have another problem in Colorado. Why don't we send someone else to Colorado or have an independent inspector to check everything, and we won't have so many complaints?
Of course this is all very subjective, but that is my opinion of what is going on now, and if this current commissioner has a problem, then I hope they get rid of him. because I have always liked this guy. He isn't a politician, just someone who cares about Colorado's consumer, and has an ear to the ground.
If you are in the market for a new insurance provider, then maybe you could consider some of these Colorado State Insurance Commission Complaints against the current commissioner. If you don't like what you see, then I suggest looking for another one.
One example would be Nancy F. Johnson. This one might not be as big of a deal, but still.
Here is how Nancy Johnson is described in the Denver Post. She is an insurance agent from Denver, and has been in the business for more than 20 years.
And here is what I heard from her: "The main reason I did not purchase insurance is that the price is so high." This is the most ridiculous thing you will hear from an insurance company, but it is true.
If it were true that insurance companies were charging high rates because of the bad economy, then wouldn't they want to make money by selling more? This is just one example of why so many people have no choices.
In conclusion, I am glad the state insurance commissioner is getting some of the criticism, because that is how it should be. If you really look at what is going on in the state right now, we need to change things and make the state a better place for everyone. Please consider all this and think on it. Consider this in 2020.
