Embrace is a device worn like a bracelet that can detect the limb movements that are associated with tonic clonic seizures, and it can send a signal to an alert device when it detects a seizure. The sensitivity of this device is similar to automated EEG seizure detection algorithms.
The EMFIT has been shown to be highly effective in detecting tonic-clonic seizures. Seizure Alarms seizure monitor It has a high sensitivity and low false-alarm rate. It is a safe and reliable monitoring device for patients with epilepsy or at risk of epilepsy.
