William Blake wrote the poem the Lamb in 1789 during this time period he was a devoted Christian. Because of this William Blake wrote a poem named the Lamb expressing his love to God he said that the lamb was a child of God and that it was small and made soft sounds and that it was an animal of heaven. However, in 1794 5 years later from when he had written the lamb his mindset completely changed, he went from God fearing to God hating. He wrote the poem Tyger in this poem he criticized God for making a tiger. William called the Tiger a beast. In the first stanza of the poem William Blake said how could you make this beast. Then in the last stanza he repeated the first stanza however he changed the word could with the word dare. Almos shouting at God.
