Father, thank you for the happiness Advent brings. As with a lot we're given, Lord, we delight within the anticipation of the present of your Son. We pray that everyone will share in that delight all through this holy season. Lord Jesus, as we rejoice this season of Advent, we're reminded that you just got here into the world to deliver us salvation. You are the sunshine we search once we encounter darkness; you may be our hope when uncertainty overwhelms us; you're the love that touches our coronary heart that helps us attain out to those round us. May we live today along with your gentle, your hope, and your love surrounding us.
