Firstly, open 'My Apps and Games' from your Xbox One Dashboard. 2. Choose 'Games' in the upper-left corner.
3. Now select "Minecraft" from the list
4. From the right side of your Guide button, select 'Menu Button'
5. Select "Manage game and add-ons" from the menu that appears.
6. Select the Update tab.
7. If the update fails automatically, you can select and press A to begin downloading.
8. Follow the directions on the screen to complete the final step. Wait till it gets completed. Once it's installed and updated, you are able to begin playing the game.
Follow the steps below to update Minecraft on PlayStation 4: 1. First of all go to the game library or select Minecraft from the Dashboard.
2. Click on "Options" and a Menu will appear.
3. Select "Check for updates" from the menu
4. You will be presented with the following option. Minecraft servers list Click on "Go to downloads" to be redirected directly to the Download Page. Here you can view and check your update/download status.
5. It could take a few minutes to complete the download once you've completed it.
6. After the download has been completed, you will be presented with the option "Ready to Install" Click it to start the installation process
7. First you need to click "Update" to install the update. Then, press X and press the X. The drop-down menu will be displayed and the update will begin installing on your PlayStation 4 hard disk.
