Na noite em que Lúcia perde o seu primeiro dente, o Rato Dentinho não vem buscar o dente e deixar-lhe uma moeda. Preocupada que lhe possa ter acontecido alguma coisa, Lúcia fala com o seu pai, mas este não lhe presta atenção. No caminho conhecem Pipo, um jovem rato ambicioso e não muito fiável que faz os meninos acreditar que é o seu amigo. Mas o verdadeiro plano de Pipo é roubar ao Rato Dentinho o seu império de pérolas...
