• THC can:
o Reduce nausea
o Increase appetite
o Decrease pain
o Decrease swelling
o Can help with muscle control problems
• CBD can:
o Control epileptic seizures
o Treat mental illnesses and addictions
o Reduce the size of cancerous growths

• Synthetic Cannabis, known as ‘spice’ or ‘K2’ on the streets has resulted in a documented 56 cases of severe bleeding in Chicago alone.
• All cases of spice consumption required hospitilisation relatied to coughing up blood, blood in the urine, bloody nose.
• 9 cases tested positive for brodifacoum (bro-def-a-come), known as rat poison.
• If weed was legalised, this wouldn’t be a problem as people would buy it in legal markets.

• 600,000 people in the UK have epilepsy and take medication for it, this would mean that the NHS would be spending well over £60 million in 1 month for epilepsy treatment alone.
• 2.5 Million cases of cancer treatment in the UK, this would mean that the NHS would have to pay £250 Million per month.

A study by The Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia found that children who used marijuana, alcohol, and tobacco were 266 times more likely to use cocaine than children who used none of the gateway drugs.
