but one day that all changed, her mum, dad and sister went out to get some food but Ellie wasn't hungry so she decided to stay home.
(her parents where happy to let her stay home as they lived in a nice neighborhood and knew everyone that lived around so if anything happened she could always ask one of them for help.). Ellie sat impatiently for hours waiting for them to get home, but they never returned. they had been killed in a car accident by a drunk driver
leaving a party. ellie was put into an adoption center as all of her family lived abroad and she hadn't met any of them as her parents were not very close with there
familys so one of then where willing to take her in. as years went by at age 14 ellie felt she would never be adopted. anyone that came to the center looking to adopt always wanted a baby that they could raise as there own not a 14 year old girl and if they did they never picked her.
she became depressed, started cutting feeling as if no one would ever love her. all she ever wanted was a family and she had one but they had been taken away from her by some drunk idot who walked away with only a scratch and a couple years in jail.
as her 18th birthday approached she started counting the little savings she had. (other relatives claimed most of her parents things as there was no will) and realized she would be able leave the center and have a little place in a big city to call home.
she aspired to be a famous artist and to spread her message to all. but one of the first things she did when she left the center was get a tattoo of her
family flying free as birds.
and so that brings us to today the day when she is finally allowed to leave the center and move into her new apartment.
