Hello, I am Aidan Hirsch, and this is my presentation on Norway.
Norway is a beautiful country located to the north of Europe, near Sweden and Finland. Norway holds amazing, snowy weather almost year round, and boasts the Scandinavian Mountains, some of the best places to ski in the world. For an economy flight, I will be going on Scandinavian Airlines, with a quick stop off, from here in Newark, to Oslo and then Narvik. For a first class flight, I will be taking Lufthansa, with another stop off at Oslo. I will be taking a Boeing 737 airliner, which posesses many high quality attributes that are needed for a quality flight. One of these is food. The food served is much better what you would think you would normally get on a US flight, with steak, chicken, rice, and a full on meal, rather than the prezels, peanuts, and soda on American airliners. The entertainment system is also very high quality, with systems on every chair for every person on the flight to use. However, with first class, you will get a step up. The highest quality of food is given, served with bread, butter, and wine, and for breakfast you can get pancakes, orange juice, ham, bread and butter, some water and tea, cheese, and other assortment of consumables. For the entertainment system, you will be given a larger, more comfortable chair with an even bigger monitor to use and watch while on your flight. There are many different logdings available within Narvik, Norway, from the smallest cabin to the largest hotel. For a moderate expense, I decided on Scandic Narvik, a decently large hotel within Narvik, which has quite a lot of amneties for it's low price. For a low expense, I went with a small cabin, which has a nice overview of Tornetrask, a beautiful lake. For a luxury apartment, I went with a large cabin on the mountaintop, complete with a fireplace, beds, sofas, a pool, a large tent, ski access, and more. Norway is known for many things, such as skiing, seeing the Aurora Borealis, and to see it's majestic glaciers and fjords. Norweigian cusine is also very interesting, with kjottkake, fisksuppe, and vafler. Norway's architecture also has many great sights, like the Oslo Opera House, the Juvet Landscape Hotel, and most prominently, the Vennesla Library. If I could, I would go with all of my friends, Eric, George, Kaitlin, Ethan, Madelon, Xavier, Arjun, and everyone else in the group that has made life a whole lot better within COVID. However, nothing is perfect. Norway has some of it's flaws, just like any other country. Some of these flaws are Norway's tax rate, gas prices, and the high cost of living. Looking into the future, Norway could continue to expand on technological abilities to look better, but to also preserve the amazing spots of nature that are still there, uncorrupted by the touch of man. How would I make this a better place, you might ask? The thing I would like to see is the protection of these untouched spots, so that we can see the beauty of nature without anything else. Overall, Norway is a beautiful place in the world, and that I would love to visit some day. Thank you for watching my presentation.
