Pre-flop betting begins. That is, before the flop (or the first three community hands are turned over), the small blind and the big blind are posted. The player to your left of the dealer posts the small blind. The player to your left of that blind posts the large blind. The big blind is twice the amount of the small blind. When you play limit hold'em (limit hold'em), the big blind is equal or half the limit. The small blind is the other half. So, if the limit is $10/20 the big blind would be $10 and small blind $5.
The main difference between Omaha poker and Texas holdem, is that Omaha poker gives you four cards at the beginning of the game instead only two. You are allowed to use only two of the four community cards, plus any three additional cards.
