Video storage on the internet can be unreliable. Some sites may shut down or cease business. Here's how to back up your social video content on your laptop.

My story isn't very huge. I was born, then went on to college and then worked, fought and, finally, made it online. However, there were some horrible moments, when everything seemed gone forever. One of those instances was when my laptop computer went quiet. After some tweaking, installing new desktops and shifting the hard drive from one to the other, I was finally able to restore all the files saved on the drive. It took 3 days of sweating and crying... I've learned one thing. Automatically or manually backup my work from the day using Dropbox and my personal FTP servers, so that nothing will ever be erased.

This is not the ideal solution. The more data you save online, the more you'll have to pay to allow it to be preserved online. It is easy to use and it seems to be very secure. It's also easy to download from any device connected to the internet. What happens in those instances when access to the internet isn't feasible? Those times I am happy having my laptop on me, it is like my last safe place to backup my data. I have 2 drives that each have a RAID stack. They both copy each other and ensure that there is at least one copy in the event that one of the HDDs fails. I only copy data to them to ensure that my laptop won't fail.

Some time ago, my other major day of sorrow was. I'm cautious not to lose the work I've done. Like I said I've now copied it numerous times and can access it instantly wherever the internet is. It was not about Periscope. I was a frequent user of it years back. I even conducted live streams during the Riots of summer in 2020. Periscope TV has now been shut down and all content will be gone in a matter of weeks. What do you do? I'm looking to download the entire video to store them offline on my laptop. They are extremely special to me. This is the last time that I saw my friend who vanished from the radars during Covid. Seems like it took him away.

I browse his site and can download videos directly from Youtube, Instagram, Facebook and other sources. I'm a fan of politics and underground movements so I take a lot of videos of live events, and store them for future use. I then post them videos on my YouTube channel and then save them onto my computer. This is exactly what I do. It also allows me to cross post videos on multiple platforms. This means I can not only share Youtube video via Facebook but also upload that same video to Facebook. getvideo It will be its own video. So, over the last eight years, I've got three TB of live streams. It's not like I'm losing my Periscope lives.. And this site is very helpful to me.

It functions as a angel. When I play a video I wish to download on Periscope, Youtube or Facebook or YouTube, then copy its URL through the share link. Then , I visit the website for video downloaders and paste the video URL wherever they'd like it. click the big button, and within seconds I see multiple choices to download the video, save it on my computer or desktop to transfer it across different platforms, and to save it for my friends and family. Periscope is not accessible on all websites. The site has the ability to manage the m3u8 file other websites download for you. Then, I go to the site for downloading videos and paste the video's link where they want it. After that, I hit the on the big button. The video isn't downloaded to my computer, it's on the internet and can be played online as the player loads tiny fragments each time.

Windows copy can be used to put these fragments together, and then create a normal 1 long video file. This is due to MpegTS, the format for video, used to break the video into fragments. Also called transport stream. The stream is comprised of all the details needed to decode every fragment. They are independent of each other, allowing each newcomer to stream seamlessly. It helps save browser data too. Instead of downloading a file lasting 1 hour, it downloads 360 x 10-second files. If you are only watching 25 seconds, your player only downloads 3-4 pieces. The current 25-second segment is divided into 3-4 segments. This cuts down the total download time by only downloading 25 seconds prior to the start of the stream.
