Valerian
Valerian termasuk tanaman magis yang dikenal sebagai "ALL HEAL" karna memiliki sifat penenang dan antispasmodiknya. Banyak digunakan sebagai obat tidur, saraf dan pengonatan epilepsi. Selain itu tanaman ini dipakai dalam membuat beberapa ramuan seperti Draught of Living Death dan The Draught of Peace yang memerlukan akar valerian lalu ramuan Forgetfulness Potion, the Sleeping Draught dan the Fire Breathing Potion menggunakan tankai Valerian.
Batang dan daun Valerian berwarna hijau sedangkan bunganya berwarna pink. Akarnya membutuhkan paling sedikit 7 jam sinar matahari dalam sehari dan tanah dengan tingkat pH antara 4,5 dan 5. Waktu paling baik untuk memanen akar Valerian adalah musim gugur atau musim semi.
Tanaman ini bisa ditemukan di Eropa, Asia, dan Amerika Utara, meskipun keberadaannya di Amerika Utara merupakan hasil migrasi.
