the data of brancharea & branches will be come from databse or from xml. so basically i have to do CRUD operation will this. like if i add a brancharea in this then a brancharea will be get created at the backend so i am sending data in json form. similarly if a want to create or delete or edit a branch under any brancharea then a branch will get created ,deleted or edit. For this i want bracharea id so that particulary in that brancharea , branch will be get updated or created.
So my first requirement is when i click on showFields then brancharea id will be get passed to branch viewmodel from branchareaviewmodel so that i can do further operation & will be display on branch grid so that i can do further operation
second thing if i click on showfields and i don't want to do any operations then i want to click on cancel button & it will take me back to brancharea grid page. its a kind of viceverca of showfield functionality.
i am first time working on Knockout so dont have any idea and don't have a idea whether it is right approach or not for this scenario but hoping it will work by doing this . if you give any suggestion regarding this it will be good 4 me. :) thanks for help
