The students read the notes of the previous lesson.The topic was this/these/that/those.She opened the smartboard and practiced the topic shortly. The presentation in the smartboard was very colorful.In the presentation, some kids told about their belongings. She explained each sentence by translating them. Then, she drew a chart on the board to clarify the use of the topic. Student wrote it on their notebook. After that, she pointed some objects in the class and asked questions like “What are these?” Then, she wanted students to write the approprtriate sentences for the pictures in the activity. Then, they gave the examplea together. Then,they listened and repeated the audio of correct sentences. The activity was effective in terms of developing pronunciation. The activity reminded me Audio Lingual Method.In the next activity, students listened to an audio of a dialogue. She read the sentences aloud and wanted students to make other sentences by using the same structure of the sentences. Then,the students read the dialogue aloud in pairs.During the activity, she corrected the pronunciation errors and helped students with the hard words to pronounce.All students read the dialogue aloud. Instead of sitting and reading,the students could have come to the board and read the dialogue like a roleplay. Lastly, me and Yaren read the dialogue aloud. In this way, students managed to take students’ attention immediately.After that, the teacher wrote the common experrions for the customer and seller.At the end of the lesson,the teacher wanted students to prepare a dialogue in pairs to act out in the classroom.For the act out,students should bring materials as a decoration.

During the activities,she always walked around in the classroom to check the students.She was always ready in case the students need help. The teacher explained the aim of reading aloud since students’ pronunciation is nearly all incorrect.



Students dont know the meanşng of how.They were not that willing but still they answered the questions when they are asked.Generally,they were loud and not concentrated.
