Many countries aim to improve their standard of living by economic development, but some important social values are also lost as a result. Do you think advantages of economic development outweigh its disadvantages.

In this ultra modern epoch, the sedentary and lavish lifestyle is dreamed by the chunk of masses. Some nations tend to raise the standard of living by investing a huge amount of money in its infrastructure. Its thought by some that in the race of raising the standard of living, the social values are being neglected by the people. I am of advocate approach that its positive aspects surpass the negative aspects.

To embark upon, these days most of the nations invest a large monetary sum for providing its citizens better employment opportunities and amenities. There are plethora of positive outcomes followed by this approach. Primarily, it makes the individuals life more comfortable and quite effortless as the authorities is spending a lot of money for providing them a better lifestyle. Moreover, stronger the economy of a nation leads to build a better and powerful country. It will affect the nation in many fields such as politically, culturally and many more.

On the contrary, there are some negative outcomes of this approach though as it is thought by some that the government should firstly provide the basic necessities like food, shelter, medicine and education and create a balance among all the amenities. So, that there is no imbalance among its citizens. People think that this economic development is shifting people to western culture and the individuals are forgetting their traditions and cultures. The government should invest money funded from the tax payers. So, that the people may act responsibly against these makeovers.

To conclude, the economic development is one of the most important key for a developing nation to succeed. However, the government should create a balance among the day to day necessities and luxuries which will lead to a equal distribution of income among people. According to my point of view, the advantages of the economic development outweighs its disadvantages.
