Dominance. The inherent in species.


When nations formed, the mother/fatherland took this rule of dominance instinctively to be the best. As Germany, his inherent of superiority began to be very prevalent and could be seen as that from neighboring countries. By 1914, Germany was identified as the emperor of Europe and its view from other countries gave the persona of a notorious kingdom. With this view and the arms race taking place, Militarism, Alliances, Imperialism & Nationalism was heavily induced between the fighting countries for dominance.



With Germany holding the throne in Europe, proximal countries saw this as a sign of a formidable empire and caused a personality given to Germany. The emperor of Germany Kaiser Wilhelm ll (1888-1918) gave a clear view to the personality given. The Emperor didn’t necessarily want for a war to blowout but with his constant verbal outbursts, countries like Britain and France took this as a threat. Leading up to 1914, K. Wilhelm ll wanted its Military to be top-notch & with this, Germany decided to Increase the number of warships which Britain responded back with them building more and eventually had risen to such an extent that both nations were furious of each other.



Militarism was of primary necessity during the conflicts given from Germany to other countries. With Germany trying to have dominance over everyone, they created allies in order to strengthen their outcomes and this resulted in the formation of the triple alliance (Germany, A.H Empire & Italy.) Germany could be essentially blamed for them giving the Austro-Hungarian empire a “Blank cheque” towards anything in their benefit. Prior to 1914, when the A.S tried to invade Serbia, Germany substantial pledge for their help in order to take over Serbia (Balkan war) and from this, Conflicts with Germany became omnipotent. With Germany’s disputes, there was only one more thing to trigger a war.


The Fatherland of Germany’s goal was of dominance and by the middle of 1914, their aim was towards the right direction. After the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Serbia declared war on the A.S Empire but of all conflicts, this particular one could be solved, instead, Germany decided to challenge Serbia's friend Russia in the war in order to show their dominance to their Fatherland by taking over Russia. Once this happened, it created the explosion to trigger the war and if Germany didn't challenge Russia, the war between Serbia & the A.S Empire would be a minuscule issue. After, when France and Britain joined in the war (the triple entente) Germany decided to use various tactics to stop overcome each country one by one.

To say the least, this predicament could be blamed on any nation regarding the war. Britain could’ve lowered the tension between itself and Germany from the arms race, Serbia could’ve realized that declaring war on the Austro-Hungarian empire would be catastrophic and could just not demand a war and settle the conflict formally. Other countries included, all countries would have believed that starting a war would be natural due to past ancestors. As shown here, the inevitability of a war was going to happen even if select countries could try to stop it and with Germany, their goal was full on superiority to everyone and such factors caused to fire the ignited the war.
